What are dupes in GMod?

In GMod, a dupe is a build that is shared with other players. In Garry's Mod, there are 2 types of duplicator tool that are commonly used.

  1. Duplicator Tool - Duplicator tool is a tool that allows you to upload and download other players' builds. It takes other players builds from the GMod Steam Workshop to put them directly into your game.
  2. Advanced Duplicator 2 - Advanced Duplicator 2 is a tool that allows you to save your own builds directly to your computer. Saved builds are put directly into your computer as a .txt file. These files can be shared with other GMod players directly.
